Itinerary
Day 1: Hue - Khe Sanh (190 km - 6 hours riding)
After meeting and greeting your Bmotour at the hotel where you stay in Hue, we start our exciting motorbike trip by riding the peaceful countryside laneways, through the remote villages and beautiful green rice fields. We take a break and visit some famous and infamous historic sites, including Long Hung Church, Quang Tri Old Citadel, Hien Luong Bridge, and Ben Hai river, also known as the 17th Parallel, where divided South and North Vietnam into 2 countries before 1975. We resume back on our bikes and ride to Cua Tung Beach where we have a local delicious lunch and have some beautiful shots as well as explore the fishermen’s rural activities at the fishing village. We continue our afternoon ride through the country back roads and isolated villages. Our next stops: Vinh Moc Tunnels and War Martyr Cemetery (Truong Son Cemetery) are well-worth paying a visit as you’ll get to learn about the Vietnam War and history. We arrive in Khe Sanh before sunset, check-in and stay overnight
Day 2: Khe Sanh - P'rao (175 km - 5 hours riding)
Today’s motorbike journey will be filled up with many interesting discoveries. We take time to visit the famous historic sites: Khe Sanh Combat Base, Khe Sanh Museum, and Ta Con Airport. Jump back on our bike and ride through the spectacular old-growth jungle along the winding Chi Minh trail, and make sure you have your camera handy as it has many photo opportunities. We stop at some remote villages of Ba Co and Ta Oai Hill Tribes to experience their unique cultures and daily life. You might want to swim or dip your body into the mountain waterfall to refresh your body or simply just to enjoy the quietude in nature. We arrive in the small mountain town, P’rao which’s located on Ho Chi Minh Trail in the late afternoon, check-in, and stay overnight.
Day 3: P'rao - Hoi An (190 km - 6 hours riding)
Waking up to the sounds of rural Vietnam. We explore the culture and traditions of the beautiful region home to one of the most authentic hill tribes to remain in Vietnam, Co Tu, and their traditional Stilted Houses. We then descend and head east towards Da Nang, winding our way along the laneway of the mountains. We’ll meander up to the stunning winding Hai Van Mountain Pass, into the often cloud-shrouded skies. At the top, we stop and take delight in the spectacular views of Vietnam’s most magnificent spots. We then ride to Marble Mountain where you’ll admire many hidden caves, mountain temples, and magnificent panoramic views of Da Nang City. We arrive in Hoi An via the scenic coastal roads in the late afternoon, to the hotel of your choice, and finish our memorable adventure!
